Co. declares that in our third-party independent certification activities, we remain equally distant from all relevant parties, are not closer to any party, and will act impartially, independently, and equally toward all parties under all circumstances.
Together with all our employees, we commit that we will not engage in any commercial, financial, administrative, or other activities that may negatively affect the suitability of certification activities or compromise the independence, impartiality, or objectivity of certification decisions and outcomes.
Our organizational structure, management system, and financial management are established and implemented to ensure and maintain the impartiality of our certification activities and all other operations.
We acknowledge the importance of impartiality in certification activities, analyze all potential conflicts of interest to manage them, take all necessary measures for any potential conflict of interest, regularly update and periodically review these analyses objectively, and conduct all our activities in accordance with the results of these analyses to ensure the objectivity of certification processes.
Before processing certification applications, potential issues that may cause conflicts of interest are reviewed, and if any conflict of interest is identified, certification services will not be provided under any circumstances, and this is guaranteed.
We ensure that our employees carry out their activities free from any financial or other conflict-of-interest concerns, take all necessary measures to guarantee the objectivity of their decisions, and that all decisions are based on objective evidence of conformity (or nonconformity) and are not influenced by other stakeholders or external parties.
We obtain commitments from all audit team members before each audit, confirming that they do not have any commercial or other relationships with clients that may cause a conflict of interest, and we ensure this before assigning them.
We ensure that those who make certification decisions are different from those who conduct the audits. Before each evaluation, we obtain the commitment of certification decision-makers confirming that they do not have any commercial or other relationships with clients that may cause a conflict of interest, and we guarantee this when assigning them.
We guarantee that all audit team members and certification decision-makers do not have any financial gain related to the decisions they make.
To prevent consultancy activities from creating any conflict of interest that may compromise our impartiality, CTR, any part of CTR's legal entity, any unit under CTR's organizational control, or any full-time personnel do not perform consultancy activities. Likewise, for external auditors who provide consultancy services, every necessary measure is taken to ensure that such consultancy activities do not affect the impartiality of our certification services.
We do not recommend or provide internal audit services to our clients.
All of the above are secured through our corporate policy, procedures, committees, approach, working style, values, impartiality analyses, contracts, and this document.
