GLOBALG.A.P. Version 6 Transition Plan Announcement

The documents forming the basis for GLOBALG.A.P. certification were revised by the GLOBALG.A.P. Secretariat and published on 01.10.2022. As a result of this change, the transition from version 5.2 to version 6 Smart will take place, and the final date for this transition has been set as 01.01.2024.


TRANSITION PLAN FOR THE CHANGES
Our organization has determined the transition process to GLOBALG.A.P. version 6 Smart as outlined below:


a) Organizations Applying for Certification for the First Time
As of 01.01.2024, all initial certification audits will begin to be conducted according to GLOBALG.A.P. version 6 Smart.
Initial certification audits conducted according to GLOBALG.A.P. version 5.2 may continue until 31.12.2023; however, starting from 01.01.2024, only initial certification audits based on GLOBALG.A.P. version 6 Smart will be accepted.


b) Certified Organizations
All producers certified by our organization according to GLOBALG.A.P. version 5.2 must bring their existing systems into compliance with GLOBALG.A.P. version 6 Smart. Following this adaptation, the first surveillance audit to be conducted as of 01.01.2024 will be performed in accordance with GLOBALG.A.P. version 6 Smart.


In this context, CTR announces that we have implemented the requirements of GLOBALG.A.P. version 6 Smart and that as of the relevant date, all audits conducted under the scope of GLOBALG.A.P. will be carried out based on these changes, and we hereby inform all our certified clients and other relevant stakeholders.
